As we continue to remember and celebrate the life of Sam, our hearts remain with his family, friends, and everyone who loved him.

Sam meant so much to so many people, far beyond the baseball field. He was a son, a brother, a family member, a best friend, a mentor, and someone people genuinely loved having in their lives. The impact he made came from who he was as a person, and that is what deserves to be remembered most.

Sam’s memorial service will be held Thursday, September 24th at The Woodlands Methodist Church. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, with the service beginning at 2:00 PM.

We also know how many players and families became a part of Sam’s life through baseball over the years. He poured so much of himself into the kids he coached, and many of those relationships went far beyond just being their coach. To all of his former and current players and their families who loved Sam, looked up to him, and have been hurting alongside everyone else, we hope you’ll join us in celebrating him and everything he meant to so many people.

Most importantly, please continue to keep Sam’s family, closest friends, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate an unimaginable loss. This is a time for everyone who knew and loved Sam to come together, support one another, share memories, and celebrate a life that will never be forgotten.

⚾️ TEXAS BLUES BASEBALLS FINAL SUMMER HIGH SCHOOL SHOWCASE TRYOUTS THIS WEEK ⚾️

This week is the final round of tryouts for our summer high school showcase teams!

We’re inviting all incoming and current high school players (Grades 9–12) to attend our LIVE ABs Tryout TONIGHT from 7:30–9:00 PM.

At tonight’s Live ABs tryout, we want to see players compete:

Pitchers attacking the zone and dominating hitters
Hitters jumping on strikes
Catchers showing arm strength and receiving skills

Our goal this summer is to place players in front of as many college coaches as possible through tournaments and camps during June and July.

All summer showcase teams will participate in:

Mandatory team practices
Access to our facility for extra work
Group training outside of practice

Whether your goal is skill development, college exposure, or competing at a higher level, we welcome players who are committed to reaching the next level in baseball.
