Melrose Assembly #167 IORG

Rainbow Sunday is always a great Sunday! Melrose girls and adults attended Cypress Creek Christian Church together this morning. The gentlemen skipped out on the picture. 😂

Over the past six months, our assembly has been hard at work on a meaningful service project: assembling blessing bags for individuals experiencing homelessness. With generous support from local Order of the Eastern Star chapters, the girls collected hygiene items and essentials to include in each bag.

Members met several times to sort donations, assemble the bags, and make sure every detail was thoughtfully prepared. Their teamwork and enthusiasm made the project not only successful, but truly uplifting.

Last week, our Worthy Advisor delivered the completed blessing bags to Compassion United, a local organization dedicated to supporting those in need. We’re proud of the girls for their dedication and grateful to everyone who contributed to making this project possible.

Many thanks to these OES Chapters and Masonic Lodges who helped us complete our project: Humble Chapter, Rosenberg Chapter, Goosecreek Chapter, Mary Martha Chapter, and Spring Masonic Lodge #1174.

Today they girls attended Mid Year and it looked a little different! Over all they had a great day and learned a lot of new things, met and saw old and new friends!

Last weekend the girls combined service and work! They assembled 100 Blessing Bags to distribute later this year and also worked the parking lot event at our lodge to earn money towards Grand Assembly attendance. The Blessing Bag project has been supported by many local OES chapters, as well as our home Lodge and we are so grateful for their support!

Early in November, the girls assisted Spring Masonic Lodge in packing Fantastic Teeth kits that are delivered to local elementary schools.

Last weekend the girls helped to initiate 5 new members! Even our own newer members learned color stations and presented them wonderfully. ❤️ Congratulations to our new Houston area members!

So proud of our girls at the Houston area Back to school/Barbie’s Schoolhouse university! They filled in stations and soaked up all the knowledge!

Yesterday our Rainbow girls and Pledge attended Spring Masonic lodge installation of officers! Congratulations to you and the members of our home lodge!

Game Night and Dance Party!

Now that Grand Assembly has finally passed and we are back in our regular routine. The girls had a blast at Grand Assembly, Make Rainbow your Ultimate Creation session! From Hawaiian Falls, to game night, to finding out who the new Grand Officers are, it was so much fun!
