D.R. Crawfish

Just had surgery number 6, to shave down nose. The oxygen levels won't stay above 87 so I have to stay the night in hospital till morning for monitoring. The sad part is we have brought clothes and stuff just in case we had to stay last 4 surgeries and the one time we didn't bring any we have to stay

Had surgery again on the 15th, got out of surgery around 5pm that started at 2pm. They removed the trunk and did some more shaving the nose down and opening nostril airway a little more for breathing. I'm so happy the trunk is gone. Still getting looks though now I tell them I got a christmas light stuck up my nose. Face hurts like someone either broke my nose or hit my forehead with a hammer and have the pain in both eyes like they are gonna be blackened.

Dr appt today, good news is i have next surgery date on the 11th Oct, I'm nervous because he said they would be doing more trimming I just hope they get this trunk off my face.

Had 2nd facial surgery on Monday 26th, they shaved some of the fat and lymphatic buildup down but left the trunk😮‍💨. I'm not seeing a difference besides looking like crap again.Next surgery in 6 weeks. I wish this would go along alot faster than it currently is. It's been a long day but good day, I passed my circulatory reflex test today on my nose. I was originally told 1 -2 weeks for surgery but they managed to fit me in for Monday the 26th (Just a little nervous). This surgery is to hopefully remove the trunk and to start the nose shaping process, but if too much is needing to be shaved from nose the trunk will remain until later surgeries just to help blood flow and prevent infections.

Just a little upset... the blood vessels from nose to trunk haven't formed yet, so they canceled surgery on the 12th. Now I have to wait 2 more weeks to re check the capillary refill. Hopefully then they can schedule the surgery to remove my horn.

So this is the work of wonder to rebuild front half of my nose. Other best side they are telling me I get to go home today, I am going to miss the hospital bed I forced my wife to share EXTRA SNUGGLEY

My beautiful wife refused to sleep last night cause of my pain and the all the medications they were giving me. I made her get in bed with me to give her some comfort and rest with a bunch of resistance she is finally relaxing. (as hurt as I am you will always come first I LOVE YOU Dara Patchett )
