Pool startup! First photo is when the pool was filled. Second was after we got the chemicals balanced and vacuumed all the dirt out!

Cleaned up a pool that flooded out from the rain we recently had! Vacuumed to waste with a stand alone pump so that we didn’t ruin the filters.

The first video I posted was all Hayward equipment and automation. In these photos you’ll find where the drain plugs are for jandy and pentair equipment to be able to drain if the power goes out. Also to run your time clock system 24/7 you’ll need to remove the on and off switches which that photo is included as well. Please remember to run all equipment 24/7 through this freeze and if the power goes out it’s time to drain and turn off the breakers to pool equipment! Be safe out there in this freeze everyone!

Let’s talk, cya or better known as stabilizer or conditioner. It helps protect the chlorine in the pool from sun light. Without it your chlorine would be gone within hours. Unfortunately if it’s too high it doesn’t allow the chlorine to work properly causing algae and bacteria growth. It can also cause damage to your pool surface and equipment. Chlorine tablets contain cya in them so eventually your cya levels in the pool become high over time. Proper range for cya is 30-50 ppm. If you're over 80 ppm it’s time to start thinking about treating it. The only way to reduce the cya in the water is by draining and adding fresh water. We recommend to drain your pool halfway down once a year or every other year to maintain proper levels. Another happy customer! Multi port was leaking, pump was leaking and 3 valves were leaking. Changed out multiport and rebuilt pump and valves with new oring kits. No more leaks and everything is running properly!

Current customer had multiple pine trees cut down that were close to the pool. Unfortunately that left loads of sawdust and wood shavings in the pool! Within two visits we had it back to swim ready status!
