It’s amazing that, similar to the Mesquite pods, these Honey Locust pods when boiled released their delicious extract/juice that can then be made into jelly. But who all is brave enough to pick them?! 🙋🏻♀️

If anyone hasn’t tried our jellies, I have a bunch of bite size samples here. I’ll need to discard them in the next week or two and hate to be wasteful.

We made Dewberry Jam today. Processed the juiced. Made the jelly. 23 jars. We increased the sugar in this batch. Yum! 💜
