Fresh Manna– A Refreshing Spiritual Drink
As we come to the close of a season and the beginning of a new one, many of us are walking in a season that makes us want to cry out and shout “God why me, why my family, or God where are you?” Today God has heard your cry. He has a cup of some refreshing drink for you. Drink of it today. I want you to think of this word as fresh manna, a refreshing spiritual drink for every thirsty soul.
Here it is:
You came in carrying something. You may have come thirsty from the journey, thirsty for hope, thirsty for strength, thirsty for answers, thirsty for peace. Today God has poured something fresh into your spirit, drink it in. Let hope refresh you, let His word strengthen you, let His presence remind you that you are not alone. The season may be difficult, but fresh manna is still falling. The family may be hurting, but the King is still near. The road may be uncertain, but God is still leading us.
Hear me kingdom family, this season will not have the final word. We are citizens of another kingdom, we belong to the king. And because we belong to Him, we will not merely survive, we will flourish and we will not flourish alone, we will flourish together. So, take this fresh manna with you, drink deeply, receive His strength, receive His peace, receive His hope. And when you leave this place today, remember:
“The season may be difficult but fresh manna is still falling. The King is still near, and we will flourish together.”

The King is Coming Again
Revelation 22:12 “And, Behold I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. “ There is a word I believe we need to carry in our hearts today.
The King is Coming again!
We live in a world filled with uncertainty. Things change. People change. Circumstances change. What looks secure today can be shaken tomorrow. But there is one thing that has not changed. Jesus is still King, and the King is coming again! Jesus promise his disciples, “I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also”. John 14:3. His first coming was in humility, He came as a baby in Bethlehem, He came as the suffering savior, He came to redeem us; but when he comes again, He is coming as the returning King.
Watch!
Because the King is coming, we must remain watchful. Jesus said, “ Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” Matt. 24:42. Watchfulness means we refuse to become so distracted by this world that we forget the world to come. We work, we build, we plan, we live our lives; but we live with our hearts looking toward the King.
Ready!
The return of the king calls us to readiness. The wise virgins in matt. 25 were ready when the bridegroom came. They had oil in their lamps. We cannot wait until the king appears to prepare our hearts. Preparation is for today. Today is the day to forgive, today is the day to serve, today is the day to obey, today is the day to get our hearts right with God.
Hope!
And finally, the return of the King gives us hope. Jesus is not coming back to abandon his people. He is coming for His people. Rev. Tell us that there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain”. That is our hope. The King is coming, the king will reign, the king will make all things new. So whatever you are facing today, don’t lose heart. Lift up your head, keep serving, keep believing, keep praying, keep your lamp burning, because the King is coming again! Do not let the noise of earth make you forget the promise of heaven.
