This was a really cool one and felt like we leveled-up once more. This time we introduced out Photon Drums LED Drummers as they performed with out Photon Krew light suit dancers AND we included computer graphics. Everything was synced with military precision and the results speak for themselves. Kelly Hamilton as always did the programming of the light suits. Fernando Quevedo composed and arranged the music which was a reimagining of AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck”. This idea came from the client, Google and it was fire! Adolfo Barreto did the choreography working closely with Kelly’s light suit programming and Fernando’s arrangement. Claudio Mancinelli did the long-distance trouble shooting of the wireless signal path with only days before hitting the stage. Everything came together flawlessly!
The computer graphics were sequenced by Fernando in DaVinci Resolve. Oh yeah, and Fernando returned to the stage as one of the LED drummers! 🥁

This was a special one for me. Working on the futuristic theme for the finale, I had a blast composing the music from scratch and working on the motion graphics. For the music I composed, as always, with Ableton Live and used ReFX’s Nexus Synth in combination with Native Instruments plugins. I was inspired by melodic techno and tried to capture the essence of this genre while adding my style to it. For the orchestral parts I used the wonderful BBC Symphony Orchestra. I also did the mixing and mastering on Ableton. It’s a long way from when I started creating music with my old Apple IIe!
Adolfo Barreto did an amazing job choreographing as he patiently waited for the music which I delivered to him last minute… like really last minute, lol. Thanks Adolfo for your patience and for executing the vision brilliantly.
Kelly Hamilton provided the lasers, and I gotta say, seeing her on top of a ladder feverishly working on cabling the ethernet cables to connect all the lasers to her computer while doing production coordination for the event, the dinner that evening, dock scheduling, fire and pyro coordination and a myriad of other things is humbling. Also, good job on balancing on a ladder with a laser!
Thanks to Michael Forsch our Stage Manager who is not only one of the nicest people around but a true professional and incredibly calm under pressure.
Dima and Jonathan, kudos on trimming the stage with LED lights Tron-style. When other companies wanted a small fortune from our client to do this, we did it in record time and added DMX control to the board operator (shout out to Claudio Mancinelli!)

OUTLIER AWARDS 2025 — ROCK ANTHEMS
The stage erupted with energy during Rock Anthems, a high-octane tribute to the era of arena rock. With pounding rhythms, fierce choreography, and immersive motion graphics, this number ignited the room and had the audience rocking along to every beat.

OUTLIER AWARDS 2025 — 70s FEVER
We brought the disco heat to the stage with our 70s-inspired production “70s Fever”, a high-energy celebration of the era that defined dance, style, and groove. As always, our dancers KILLED IT! 🕺 This short version of our full show had the crowd moving and finished with a fun moment of audience interaction.
