Another day at Charles MMA dojo. Great class. Our girls showed commitment and determination with the drills of the day. After they were able to prove they can execute under pressure.
Today was a special day at Charles MMA. One of my many students whom evolve into a great role model and stayed dedicated to reaching a brown belt. Now today his commitment earned him his 1st stripe to continue his journey. Congratulations Whitney Michel!
A combination of 3!! Considering the 1st move doesn’t work (O-soto-Gari) instantly change direction to attempt the 2nd move (Hiza-Guruma) now you realize it’s not possible so you finish with the 3rd and final move as a sacrifice (Uki-Waza)
Today we trained with Gi. Drilled takedowns and escapes then finished off with several rounds of intense rolling.
