Children are exploring how facial expressions and body language can communicate different emotions while building confidence in expressing their own! 😊

Through music, rhythm, and movement, our little learners explore new sounds, express themselves creatively, and develop important listening and coordination skills. We love watching them learn, grow, and discover the joy of music! 💛🎼

With her big personality and even bigger heart, Miss Chievous helps little learners explore their emotions, understand how they feel, and discover healthy ways to express themselves. 🌟

Fall comes with so many exciting opportunities to learn. 🌱 As part of our My Emotions and Feelings curriculum theme, little ones will explore the sights, textures, and sounds of fall through hands-on experiences with seasonal materials, giving them plenty of opportunities to discover, create, and connect their learning to the world around them.

🌟 Wonderful Me Books 🌟

Our Wonderful Me Books are helping create a special home-to-school connection! Each child will have the opportunity to add pictures, drawings, and special memories from home to share with their classmates and the important people in their lives. ❤️

As children share their experiences and learn more about one another, they are building friendships, confidence, and social-emotional skills. 🧡 These special books allow our children to celebrate what makes them unique while sharing meaningful moments with their friends! 📖✨

Our 2-year-olds had so much fun creating their very own Mr. and Mrs. Potato Heads! They got creative by gluing and adding different body parts to bring their creations to life. This fun hands-on activity helped strengthen their fine motor skills while encouraging creativity and self-expression!

Big feelings are part of growing up! 💛😊

This October, our little learners here at The Learning Experience are diving into My Emotions and Feelings, a curriculum theme designed to help children better understand what they’re feeling, express themselves, and build the social-emotional skills they’ll use every day. 🌈💬

With Miss Chievous by their side, children will explore the many emotions they experience and discover simple ways to navigate big feelings. ✨

Learning how to understand our feelings is an important part of learning how to care for ourselves, connect with others, and grow with confidence. 💕 We can't wait to see what this month of exploration and discovery brings! 🌱

💛 Spreading Happiness at Rhodes Ranch! 💛

At each team meeting, one teacher gets to choose another teacher for the Happy Stick and recognize someone who brings happiness and positivity to our school!

It’s a simple way to celebrate one another, spread kindness, and remind our team how much we appreciate each other. We love hearing all the sweet reasons our teachers choose someone special!

We are so lucky to have such an amazing team at Rhodes Ranch! 💛

This month, we are so excited to celebrate Compehos Family ❤️

Miloh has been part of our TLE family since he was a baby, and we have loved watching him grow, learn, and become the amazing little person he is today!

We truly love Miloh and his family and are so grateful to have them as part of our TLE community. We love you! 💙

Learning through play! Our preschoolers practiced sorting and counting with beans while building important early math skills. This hands-on activity helped children recognize numbers, compare quantities, and group objects by their similarities. Learning math can be fun, engaging, and deliciously hands-on!

Seeing our families come together, connect, laugh, and enjoy the evening reminded us exactly why we created Family First Friday to bring our school and community together! ❤️

✂️ Preppers Are Practicing Their Cutting Skills! ✂️

Our Preppers are strengthening their fine motor skills through hands-on cutting activities!

As part of our curriculum, we provide opportunities for children to practice using scissors safely while developing hand-eye coordination, focus, hand strength, and control. These skills help prepare children for future classroom activities such as writing, drawing, and other self-help tasks.

We love watching our Preppers learn, practice, and gain confidence with every snip! ✂️
