This morning’s Ruck was a somber one. A friend & mentor passed away last night. A very wise man. Always knew what to say and always had a positive attitude. He knew how to simplify situations when I would over complicate them. One of my favorite quotes was “Is that a hill you’re willing to die on?”. You will be missed Chris Whalen.
This was this morning’s sunrise. How peaceful it was. I hope you are as peaceful my friend.
“It’s not about you!” is one of my favorite mantras from GORuck. Whether it’s a GR Light, Tough or Heavy you are always helping those around you. I wish more people would live their day to day lives this way.

Tacked on a couple extra miles & a few extra stairs this morning. I love rucking through the woods. 8.07 miles and about 1150 calories burned! Great day!
