Congrats to all my 2025 graduates! Now that my last duckling has crossed the stage, I will be cutting back to a limited number of senior sessions and focusing on other pursuits. Please reach out early if you'd like to schedule senior pictures this summer or fall!

This is just my ducklings heading back to college but it did get me thinking about winter sessions. They could be very cool.

Happy New Year! We’ve been busy moving to the country and I’m so excited for 2025 sessions. For my seniors, I’m working on a new flower garden on our property and the use of a field and silo adjacent to our new house. Cheers to a new year and the Class of 2026!

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm so grateful for all of you who trust me to capture your sweet mugs. I'm especially thankful for my senior parents this year. You have been wonderful to work with and I loved capturing your beautiful children! Not all parents agree to be photographed but I always offer. As a parent of three seniors in four years, I know this is an emotional time and the more snapshots we can get of these pre-adults, the better! I love these. xo

Andrea makes October look like July! This beauty should win an Oscar for hiding how chilly it was when we took this last week. Mom was standing by with the coat and it was all worth it for such beautiful pictures.

These end of the session low key portraits are my absolute favorites. Low key is actually a photography term used to describe images that are darker and moodier. Abby looked beautiful in the brighter photos but this….I love. Thank you Abby and Jessica, for a fun jaunt around the farm. P.S. tap the image twice to see it in all its glory.

It's not easy to edit when you hear Lions commentators screaming from the other room but it sure is easy to love this portrait of Fisher. I wouldn't do senior pictures if my kids and families didn't embrace west Michigan weather the way they do. We use the elements to create beautiful portraits and on this evening the wind showed up and Fisher showed out!

Attention Class of 2026! Book your senior pictures with me and I nearly guarantee you’ll be on the homecoming court. And probably, most likely, Queen! Ok, what I can truly guarantee is that I will run up to you in the parade and embarrass you by taking pictures and screaming your name like you just won the Powerball jackpot. It's really tough to stick to this one-picture limit I've put on myself to keep me focused on finishing final portraits. Traveled across the state for this handsome football captain. I've known Sawyer since he was born and he's just as cute as ever. Jen - you know why I love this? The clouds in the rear window! And the laughs we had. And seeing you all again.

These end of the session water portraits will always make my heart sing. The seniors are so relaxed in the water, even in October, and that light! Staci and Bill - I love this of sweet Hannah.
