Park Terrace Elementary

Thanks for your support in helping fundraise more than $7,000 for our school through the Wacky Fun Run. The money goes toward field trip bussing, in house field trips, and other special events. A big shout out goes to the students in Ms. Faber, Mr. Gagner, and Ms. Thao’s classes for raising the most money. Thanks to the PTA and Mr. Chretien for organizing all of the details that go into the fundraiser.

We recently had DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) time at PT. Students got a chance to just relax and enjoy a good book. February is I Love to Read month.

SPARK has started at Park Terrace! The students get to choose which activity they would like best. Choices include dancing, arts & crafts, board games and so much more!

Today, we had our monthly CARES breakfast where we celebrate students who have been nominated by their teachers for showing CARES (cooperation, assertion, responsibility, empathy, and self-control). After some breakfast together, they got to share why they were chosen and then play a morning meeting game.

Happy first day of summer Park Terrace! Yesterday, as our busses pulled away for the last time of the school year, students were met with a wave goodbye from many of our staff members.

As is tradition, our 4th grade class took one last walk around Park Terrace while students and staff cheered them on! We hope everyone had a wonderful, fun and special last day of school and we hope everyone has a great summer!
