Diesel update.

Treatment didn’t seem to work as well as we hoped. He currently now has cellulitis. The vet from the canker protocol wants us to do more lotion and see what that does but right now we want to get this infection under control. I feel so bad for him. We really had hoped this treatment was going to cure him. For now he is living his best life with his little besties. We actually have left him outside for two nights in hopes he would walk around and get his leg feeling better. He’s usually on a strict schedule of no morning dew, no rain, no wet pasture. He’s loving being with his friends❤️ 

It is with the heaviest heart I share that baby peach passed away last week. I was honestly too devastated to even post. We are not sure what really happened she was running around the night before and the next morning I found her. Our vet is thinking possibly lightning. Farm life is definitely tough. Honey bear is devastated as well, but her friends are trying to help her. 💔

Happy 4th!
We are home now. Life is a little crazy right now and on top of recovering Ella and I have a cold. Seems like we can never catch a break over here! I know a few people have reached out for babies. Right now we honestly don’t have time to pull babies and bottle feed them. As the days move forward and Ella’s pain gets better we do have two babies. The one will not be a bottle baby he is 6 months old. The other can go as a bottle baby I just honestly don’t know when we will have the time to pull her and feed her here for a week. Just wanted to give a quick update. Hope everyone has a great 4th!

We will be MIA for a while. Today is our daughter’s surgery. And in true farm life luck poppy had her baby. First time momma, hoping she takes care of her baby 🤞 we’ve only been watching her for months to decide today was the day. We will have someone staying here watching the animals so hopefully they will see baby nursing later. I didn’t see gender but baby was loving all over me so sad I’m going to miss the first few days! Please keep us all in your thoughts today.
