Abby and Justyn’s recent wedding had a perfect ending. To those of you in your wedding planning stage; have you thought about how you will end your night?

While attire at a wedding is generally made up of something in the suit and dress department, I’m here to tell you that these are certainly not the only two outfits I’ve witnessed while photographing weddings. From surprise guests (a mascot and a ginormous robot,) to the wedding party, to the bride and groom themselves, wedding attire can take on a lot of different looks.
What’s the takeaway from this? It’s your wedding. Do what you want and what speaks to you. Especially if it’s dressing up like you're riding a unicorn.

In preparation of their wedding in February we did a wedding photo warm-up (a very techincal exercise. Some might know it as an "Engagement Session.") at the same site as their wedding, the charming, lovely Red Barn right during that delicious golden hour.

The multi-day Mars Makes the Difference Awards event held in Washington D.C. is coming up soon and I’m looking forward to returning. This global program recognizes and celebrates associates who create a positive impact by developing projects that are intended to “Make a Difference” within Mars and beyond. The excitement from the associates is contagious and the overall feel from the event is one of hope, dedication and happiness.
I'm also looking forward to working with the talented team; Kristy Walker Photographer , Adam McCall Photography and Troy Volanti as we work to capture all the activities and ceremonies, the range of emotions and that fabulous dance party that closes out the event.

One year ago today Brandi and Brian said "I do" in front of friends, family and one good looking mountain. Thank you to these beautiful humans for giving Kristy Walker Photographer and myself the honor of capturing the memories from their day, which was, ridiculously awesome.
Just like the two of them.
