Today we celebrate the freedoms we share while honoring the many stories that make this country what it is. As Native people, we remember the courage, resilience, and service of those who came before us—especially the Navajo Code Talkers, whose language and bravery helped protect our nation’s freedom during World War II.

We are proud of our heritage, grateful for those who served, and thankful for the opportunity to share our culture through our art every day.

💚🖤 Next Stop: Houma, Louisiana! 🖤💚

After an amazing few weeks on the powwow trail, we’ll finally get a few days at home! We’ll be home Monday through Wednesday, catching up on work, family time, and getting everything ready before we hit the road again.

This weekend, we’re excited to travel to the 14th Annual United Houma Nation Powwow in Houma, Louisiana. What makes this event especially meaningful to our family is that this year’s powwow is focused on Mental Health Awareness—a cause that is incredibly important and close to our hearts.

Powwows are always about community, culture, healing, and connection, and we’re honored to be part of an event that shines a light on mental health and disability awareness while celebrating Native traditions.

If you’re in the area, come out and join us June 27-28! We’d love to see familiar faces and meet new friends.

We wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who participated in our Turquoise Cuff Giveaway.

Unfortunately, we did not reach the number of entries needed to make the giveaway successful. This was our first time ever attempting a giveaway like this, and while we were excited to share such a special piece with one lucky winner, it simply did not generate enough participation.

Because of that, we will be starting the refund process for everyone who purchased entries.

We are truly sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate every person who supported us, shared our posts, purchased spots, and cheered us on throughout this process.

For over 20 years, Native Designs has been built on honesty, integrity, and the support of our amazing customers. While this giveaway didn’t work out as we had hoped, we believe the right thing to do is refund everyone promptly and thank you for giving it a chance.

🌵🦅 Back Home for a Few Days… Then It’s Back on the Road! 🦅🌵

We just made it home from Lake Livingston after another successful powwow weekend, and we want to thank everyone who stopped by our booth, visited with us, and supported Native Designs. We truly appreciate each and every one of you!

We’ll be home for the next three days, working hard in the shop, catching up on orders, restocking inventory, and creating as many new pieces as possible before we pack up again.

Then it’s back on the road as we head to Kinder, Louisiana for the 29th Annual Coushatta Powwow on June 12-13, 2026!
