Ganton Art Gallery - Spring Arbor University

This Friday, March 27, 5-7 pm, come see the culminating work of two Spring Arbor University senior art students. The exhibition will be up until April 17.

The gallery will be closed April 3-6 for Easter and while the university is on break.

Coming SOON! Opening reception for the JXN Art Teachers and Student exhibition is Saturday, February 7, 2-4 pm. This large-scale group exhibition will be on display from February 6 to March 13. Make sure to stop by and see what Jackson, Michigan's youth and their teachers have created.

Join us this Friday, November 7 at 5 pm for the opening reception of Samantha MacLean's senior exhibition. The show will be up until November 21.

Starting this Friday, September 5, the Ganton Art Gallery is showcasing the unique artwork of Jackson Civic Art Association members. Their incredible work will be on display until October 10. There will be a reception Saturday, October 4 at 1:00 pm during Spring Arbor University's Homecoming weekend, so there will be lots of other festivities on the campus that day. Make sure to stop by!!

On display in the Ganton Art Gallery from March 10-March 30, Roger Varland's photography retrospective 50 YEARS OF LOOKING. There will be special closing reception on Sunday, March 30 from 2-4 where Roger Varland will be having a print sale in which all proceeds go the Kenya Kids Can foundation.

So much work to be seen, admired, and much more that you can potentially bring home with you. Hope to see you at the exhibit and at the closing reception!

This Saturday, February 8, we will be hosting a reception for the Western High School Art Exhibition at 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Light refreshments and snacks provided.

Opening Friday, November 11 at 5:00 pm is SAU Senior Abby Fernihough's solo exhibition. Make sure to come and support Abby and see her unique body of work!

Abby's exhibition will be on display until November 29.

An exciting exhibit will be on display this Friday, September 6, showcasing the work of world renowned Italian artist Marco Sassone. The artist himself will be visiting the Ganton Art Gallery October 5, 2024. Make sure you come to Spring Arbor University's Homecoming weekend to have some fun, eat good food, and meet the artist himself. On October 5, we will also be selling Sassone's memoir. We have a limited number so make sure to get a copy when you can. (Cash and check only).

This Friday the Spring Semester Art Exhibition for SAU CMFA majors will be on display starting at 4:00 pm, May 3rd.

Opening this Friday, February 2nd, is the Art on the Town: Winter Showcase for Jackson School of the Arts.

Public reception, with food and refreshments, is Friday, February 9th, 5:00-7:00 pm. Hope to see you there!!

SAU's Fall semester is coming to a close, but we have our Art Student Exhibition happening this Friday!! On Dec 8 at 4:00 pm some light refreshments will be provided. This is a juried exhibition and students would love to have your support. Try to make it out to the Ganton Art Gallery on Friday. The exhibition will remain up through the month of January.
