We are still feeling the excitement from last night’s “Our Stories, Our Future” Fundraiser!
Thank you to everyone who showed up, volunteered, sponsored, and planned the event to support for the Spokane Alliance. A special shout out to our speakers as well for sharing their powerful stories and experiences with our organization.
We were truly overwhelmed by the incredible turnout and the generosity in the room. Seeing so many faith communities, labor partners, neighbors, and friends gathered together was a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish as a community.
We are honored to share that together we surpassed our goal...stay tuned for the full total!

We hope you will join us for an evening of storytelling, celebration, and investment in the future of our community—highlighting twenty-five years of public victories and personal transformation through community organizing.
At this event, you will hear from leaders whose lives and institutions have been shaped by organizing:
- Joe Chrastil will share the story of the Spokane Alliance’s Founding Assembly, which brought 750 people into the Spokane Convention Center.
- Katia Jasmin will reflect on co-chairing the assembly where the City of Spokane committed $9 million for affordable housing.
- Dr. Luis Manriquez will share how he built a new institution to equip medical students with tools to advance health equity.
- Rev. Emily Kuenker will reflect on how her experiences in global conflict zones led her to engage faith leaders and young people in building local power in Spokane.
We’d love to see you there—please RSVP so we can plan for your seat.
