We’re pleased to share a look at the refurbished Sunset Chapel and Mausoleum following the fire.

A few exterior repairs and cleaning tasks remain, but we’re getting closer to restoring the building to its welcoming condition. Thank you for your patience and understanding throughout this work.

All decorations have been removed due to smoke damage. If you left an item of value, please visit the Fairmount office to retrieve it.

Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Service

If your life has been touched by pregnancy or infant loss, we warmly invite you to join us as we remember and honor the babies gone too soon.

Gather with us for a remembrance service and a time for reflection, connection and support. Soup will be provided, and each registered adult will receive a complimentary remembrance gift.

Renovation Update at Fairmount Memorial Park
Canyon View and Hillcrest Cremation Gardens, along with Sunset Chapel and Mausoleum, are under construction as we remodel and improve these spaces.
All unauthorized decor will be removed and stored. Please collect your items at the cemetery office by Monday, October 5, 2026.
We understand these items may hold special meaning and appreciate your cooperation during this work. Thank you for your patience as we care for these places of remembrance.

Hello Quilt Club friends!

It’s time for our next quarterly gathering, and this time we’re heading to the WSQ Quilt Show! We’d love for you to join us on Friday, October 16, at 9:00 a.m. We’ll meet at the entrance to the Spokane Fairgrounds, then walk through the show together.
There’s something special about seeing quilts in person: the colors, the details, and the stories stitched into each one. We’ll have a chance to admire the displays, share ideas, and spend some time together doing something we all enjoy. We’re especially excited to see two quilts by our very own Kellie Marie Plumlee featured in the show. Please join us in cheering her on!

Every sunrise is a quiet reminder that love, like light, carries on.

There’s something especially peaceful about the cemetery in the early morning hours. A new day, a beautiful view, and a quiet place to remember those we love.
