Halloween2026

🎃 The countdown is officially ON! 👻
Our Tricks or Treasures event is just around the corner, and we’re looking for our amazing community to help make Halloween extra special for local kids! 🍬✨

We’re looking for about 75 trunk hosts to decorate their trunks and pass out candy on Saturday, October 31 from 11 AM–2 PM. Whether you’re a family, individual, organization, or business, we’d love to have you join us!

🎃 Trunk hosting is just $10!
This small fee helps us get a firm commitment from our trunk hosts so we can plan accordingly. We’re also using a portion of those fees to help offset some of the candy costs for our trunk hosts, because we know providing treats for hundreds of kids can add up quickly!

That said, please still plan to bring candy or treasures to share at your trunk! 🍭🎁 We want to have lots of fun options for kids, and treasures can be things like bubbles, bouncy balls, stickers, small toys, toothbrushes, or other kid friendly goodies!

And this year, we’re expecting 700+ kids to come out and celebrate with us! 👻🍬

🍭 We also need candy sponsors! We’re looking for local businesses and community members who would be willing to help us purchase candy or sponsor the cost of candy for the event. Every donation helps us make sure we have plenty of treats for everyone.

🤝 Nonprofits & community organizations, we want you, too! We’re inviting other nonprofits to host a trunk and share resources, information, and support with families attending the event.

Our goal is to create a welcoming space where all kids, from all walks of life, can come together, have fun, and access resources that can support them and their families. 🖤

With 700+ kids expected, we need our community to make this event amazing! 🎃🍬

Reach out to Hillyard Built to sign up as a trunk host, become a candy sponsor, or get involved. Let’s make this Halloween one to remember! 👻🖤 https://www.hillyardbuilt.com/tricks-or-treasures

A loud thank you to Storage Direct Self Storage - Spokane for supporting our organization and mission.

Hillyard Bash is finally winterized in our upgraded storage unit

every donated penny and discount is crucial. Storage direct’s discount and your donations allow us to pay for these administrative costs that add up very quickly.

Can we talk about the MUSIC at Hillyard Bash?! 🤘🔥

Every single band that took our stage donated their time and talent to help us raise money for Hillyard youth and they absolutely ROCKED IT.

No appearance fees. No big paychecks. They simply showed up, plugged in, turned it up, and gave our community one hell of a show because they believed in what we were doing.

That means so much to us.

To every musician who performed: THANK YOU. You didn't just provide entertainment. You created the soundtrack to Hillyard Bash and helped turn a fundraiser into a freaking EVENT.

And we're just getting started.

Our hope is that Hillyard Bash becomes one of those days where people say:

"We're going for the music."

So if you missed the bands this year...don't make that mistake in 2027.

To our 2026 lineup: you set the bar HIGH. 🎶🔥

💥 SHOUTOUT TO OUR OG BASH BACKERS! 💥

Before we knew exactly that Hillyard Bash was Hillyard Bash...it was a simple co****le tournament. And these businesses said YES.

They invested in the idea. They invested in Hillyard Built. And most importantly, they invested in our kids.

These are the businesses that helped us build the Bash from the ground up and we'll always be damn proud to call them our OG Bash Backers.

Thank you for showing up early, believing big, and helping us make some noise for Hillyard youth.

You were here from the beginning. And that means something.
