We have been involved with animal rescue for over 30yrs. We focus on cats n kittens.

April 5th. 2026. We need to indefinitely halt all rescue activity. My husbands health has taken a dramatic turn for the worse. I need to focus on him. I hope to return to helping others later this year. For now we will stay in a holding pattern caring for the 60+ cats and kittens currently in our program. As well as feeding our local feral colony. If you are one of our supporters and can continue to donate please do. Catfood and litter are getting more and more expensive. Venmo is -KruegerDelgado the last 4 of our phone # is 8320. If you find a cat or kitten(s) that needs help PLEASE step up yourself. Shelters are full! Rescues are full! Trust me they are safer in your garage, basement, spare bedroom, extra bathroom or even in a large dog crate than trying to fend for themselves outside with no food, water, shelter or protection from predators. Best of luck. Spay and Neuter it saves lives!

As Christmas approaches, let's inspire kindness on social media by promoting compassionate gift-giving. Animals are living, breathing, sentient beings that deserve our care and respect. Instead of gifting puppies or kittens, consider giving a gift card to support the adoption process, ensuring that both parents are committed to caring for the new pet. This thoughtful approach allows families to make informed decisions and provides a safety net for the animal's well-being.

Ok so I have really been slacking on posts! We took in a momma cat with 7 kittens.Pictures coming soon! Turned out they ALL had ringworm exposure! So meds one week then rest a week. More cleaning and sterilizing than you can ever imagine! Meds for a 2nd week, rest a week. Meds for a 3rd week and then get them all retested to see if they are clear. IF they are clear THEN we move on to spay, neuter, shots and micro chips. Because of the ringworm I could not TNR this group. Which means needing homes for 8 cats! I'm hoping to home them in pairs. But I will not home a pet during Christmas. Too many people impulsively give or get a live animal at the holidays. And a couple months later the shelters are swamped with all the well intentioned "presents" that nobody wants the responsibility for any more. I am still trapping and TNRing cats as funds allow. So reach out if you need help locally with that. (Spokane) But I am also currently fostering pets for homeless that are in transition actively seeking housing. So I'm getting stretched pretty thin in the pocket book. I have submitted the application to become a 501c3 but can and do currently take donations. My venmo is -KruegerDelgado last 4 of the phone # is 8320. You can put CAT or Kitten in the notes. I also have direct donate to my vet when it's for a specific vet bill and will post that info whenever applicable. Thank you to our fans, followers and financial supporters. We expect some major growth this coming year. Both in services offered by us and hopefully also by having a commercial location sometime in 2026 to better help our community with emergency short term foster, adoption and low cost spay/neuter assistance. Keep an eye on our page for pictures of kitties needing homes. Meowy Christmas!

Why isn’t Alaska being talked about? Are lives not important? The remnants of Typhoon Halong have wreaked havoc on coastal communities in Western Alaska, particularly in the Kipnuk area and surrounding villages. The storm brought hurricane-force winds, storm surges, and heavy rainfall, leading to catastrophic flooding. In Kipnuk, a community of approximately 500 residents, tidal gauges recorded a peak of 14.52 feet—surpassing the previous record of 13 feet set in 2000. This unprecedented flooding swept homes from their foundations, leaving residents stranded and displaced. Other affected villages also saw homes destroyed, with at least 18 people rescued and several still missing. Over 50 individuals have been rescued from the affected areas, some from rooftops, by the U.S. Coast Guard, Alaska Army National Guard, and Alaska Air National Guard. Rescue operations continue, with additional support being provided to communities in need. Emergency supplies, including generators and fuel, are being delivered to assist with recovery efforts. The storm has resulted in at least one confirmed fatality, with two individuals still missing. Approximately 1,000 residents have been displaced across the affected communities. In addition to the immediate threat to life, the flooding has caused extensive damage to infrastructure, including power outages, contaminated water supplies, and ruined food stores and heating systems. These conditions threaten survival as winter approaches. It’s crucial that this disaster receives the attention it deserves. The isolation of these communities and the severity of the storm have made rescue and recovery efforts challenging. However, with continued support and awareness, we can help these communities rebuild and recover. Adopted🩵

🚨This is my 3rd time trying… Hope this will be it. He lost his family last month & needs a new one now.🚨

2 year old Cru was surrendered bc landlord said he isn’t allowed. He is such a good dog! He’s cat, dog, & kid friendly, housebroken, sweet, & so nervous in there. He is begging for someone to save him. He’s been cooped up an entire month. 😔Needs out ASAP as he is likely up next when space is needed, the shelter is rapidly filling up & he’s 2nd longest resident. Shelter does not give deadlines/warnings.

Help Cru reach more people: watch until end (20 sec), react, comment (no copying & pasting pls), tag friends/rescues, share, & follow my page for pupdates! Thank you so much, it takes a village. 🩵🙏🏼

⚠️DISCLAIMER: I AM A VOLUNTEER. PLEASE DO NOT HARASS SHELTER OR THREATEN THEM, THEY AREN’T TO BLAME. YOU WILL ONLY HURT DOGS IF YOU DO.⚠️

🙏🏼Need adopter to go in person or local foster & reputable rescue in DFW / East TX! Shelter doesn’t have a foster program. Supplies provided & expenses are covered by rescues typically. Rescues need funds (pledges) & local fosters to save.

Kennel 18, Cru, ID 251251
Intact male, Pit Bull / Labrador Retriever Mix
2 years old, HW negative
Owner surrender 8/6/25

If you want to adopt out of state (PNW/MW/NE —will need rescue & local temp foster for 3-4 weeks for that to happen) or if you can foster for a rescue in DFW until adoption, please message @TheDogsNeedOurHelp & I’ll connect you with a rescue. Adoption costs more than shelter fee if out of state & can’t go in person.

ONLY if able to adopt in person or tag by rescue (approved to tag), contact shelter directly at:
Greenville Animal Control Shelter
5800 Joe Ramsey Blvd
Greenville, TX
☎️ 903-457-2990

Ok updates for recently caught kitties. Momma Atlas and her brood of 6 babies have ALL been spayed/neutered this week. Tonight the first 2 went to their furever homes! The rest go tomorrow. Happy tears! Daisy has a home visit this weekend. Her littermate has managed to elude capture but we are ever hopeful. Dahlia who is not related to Daisy but looks like her and was found on the same day STILL NEEDS a foster/adopter. There are 2 momma cats just breeding away that we are actively trying to trap but dang those girls are smart! All shelters and rescues are FULL, FULL, AND BEYOND FULL! Please if you can, foster, It's not hard and kittens only need fosters for 8 to 10 weeks. Adopt! Donate your time or money to help a shelter or independant rescue. None of us can help the animals without your support!
