Fixed up this old folder, comeplete disassemble and restore. New handle scales, new pins and re-etched the blades.

Made a quick blacksmith knife out of an old farrier rasp

Been busy with my day job but here's some works in progress I've slowly been working on.

Pretty proud of this one even though there were quite a few hiccups. Learned a lot from this knife, first successful damascus blade, first hidden tang and first 3 piece handle.
Blade: 1084/15n20
Handle: birds eye maple, g10 spacer, purple heart and buffalo horn

My first chef style knife. This may be a gift or one for myself since it was my first and I had a few "oops" moments. Tested it out on a potato and it makes paper thin cuts

Almost finished with this one

Been working on a small chef knife and another neck knife last few days

Didnt come out how I thought it would but still pleased with it. 80 total layers of 1084 and 15n20.
Started with 2 5 layer billets.
Top half was billet 1 and was twisted twice and folded 3 times to make 40 layers.
Bottom half was billet 2 and was just folded 3 times.

Hard to see but the end of the same billet
40 layers 2 twists
Lets see how this turns out.
40 layers with 2 twists.

Worked on the friction folder today.
80crv2 blade and walnut handle.
Currently available for purchase.

This one's going to be pretty cool

Finished up this little neck knife this afternoon.
3.5" 1095 steel blade and 3.5" oak handle

Today's efforts.
Wrought iron and 1095 san mai skinner forged out.
Test piece for copper inlay. If I can nail this it will produce some really neat looking blades.

Handle shaped and acid etched for color. Next up is final sanding on the handle, final edge sharpening and a kydex sheath.
