Day 1 of the 2024 Limit Out Performance Marine PRO AM is in the books. The rain and wind showed up but also did the fish. Below are the results. The PROs are listed first followed by the COs. Big Bass so far is Rodney Reed with a 5.36, followed by Mel Williams with a 5.06.

Limit Out Performance Marine Pro/AM is next week. The only way to win a boat, you don't have to share, in the Northwest. You can't win if you not there, so get signed up before the cutoff. This was the best event of the season last year... by far.

POTHOLES PROBLEM - QUESTION ANSWERED - Will the QUEST still run when pulled half way up? See picture.

We know the Lowrance Ghost will shut off if you pull it more than a few inches, and this makes sand-dunes and floating wood impossible. The Quest has the same shutoff features as the other trolling motors, but it appears the activation point is up high enough to allow for 4x4 driving.

Anyone know if the Garmin's shutoff point is workable for Potholes?

Not a single scratch on it. Clear power runs for all the graphs, all hubs services (one replaced), brakes bled - adjusted, motor maintenance recently done.

2019 Mercury ProXS 250 is one of the best years as far as reliability and power. The 2019 models don't have the trim position sensor issue, don't have near as many shift actuator issues, and seem to run a bit faster than later models.

Blake's boat is immaculate, and worth a look if you need an excellent tournament ride.

Let the rigging wars begin!! Blake is power rigging for spring fishing in our Spokane Location, while Ferry and the crew are competing in our Pacific location.

What do you need? Garmin for the scope, one for mapping and 2D sonar, and a Solix for 360. Humminbird LakeMaster is the best mapping available in the industry, but can be limited to larger lakes (Potholes map is dialed!!!).

So how would you do it? If you're Humminbird is 360, and you need all that screen for details, then when do you use the LakeMaster mapping? With two Garmins, you can use LiveScope from each screen so you can prioritize based on situation which graph is doing what.

Running this much technology requires power, clean power. We now have our BClear harnesses custom made for each boat design.

"Guys please take notice" our tournament schedule has changed a little bit. Here is the current schedule of events for the Limit Out Marine Big Bass Trail events: Pro/Am April 25th & 26th on Potholes, Potholes Big Bass May 4th & 5th, and the *Shootout tournament has been moved to Potholes to June 6th and 7th. We cancelled the 2nd Pro/Am due to not getting a second boat. The Big Bass Trail website is currently down because we are working on it so will let all know when that site is back on for registration for all of the events. We will have open pre-fish for all events so you can all spend time on the water before each event. We have secured the Phoenix Bass boat for the Pro Am and look forward to seeing you all at our events.
