Made myself a spoon rest. Or should I say, made Jeff a spoon rest. He's a much better cook than I am and makes fabulous meals. Now he has something homemade on which to rest his cooking utensils.

Today definitely feels like fall in the Inland North West. Cool, breezy and showers off and on. So pulling these out of the kiln this morning was awesome. First slump attempt at the new place turned out perfect. Happy Fall Y'all.

The unpacking is almost complete. I've got a dedicated space to work and am anxious to get back to regular creative work. Still should run a few more things through the kiln just to make sure all is well. Time for fun!

A very significant dent was made in unpacking my glass and setting up an actual studio space today. Once we get the basement finished it will move there. For now, the garage will be good.

Success. A few more tests of the other schedules and we'll be able to get creative again. I need a new idea for Christmas ornaments!

Well, it may not look exciting but it is to me. 1st firing of the kiln in the new house has started. (Only took 16 months) I haven't found my manuals or notes, so this is definitely an experiment. Fingers crossed.

New window installation complete. I can't wait to see the afternoon sun through it. (West facing window)

Well, it's not a studio but a corner of the garage where I can be creative. Working on some stained glass first. Soon I'll be fusing again.

AZ licenses have been canceled, final sales tax returns filed. We're officially on hold for a couple of months. See you soon!
