We have another cage set up ready to go! Price includes everything inside as well. This cage is lightweight and can easily be lifted and moved, it also comes apart from its wheels. We’ve included a variety of toys for foraging, exercise, shredding and chewing. We set this one up for cockatiels in mind, but it can work for plenty of other species as well! This set up is $350 and the only one we have available currently.

Meet Mr. Peabody!

Mr. Peabody is a 28 year old male Moluccan Cockatoo looking for his new forever home. He was raised and owned by the same woman for all 28 years, and recently lost his bird sibling, so he’s still in his grieving period. Because of this, he has been screaming more often than normal, he needs a lot of enrichment and activity to keep him busy. He needs someone who understands his emotions and is willing to work through it with him. He seems to have a preference for women and would do best with a woman.

Pros:
Peabody LOVES to take showers and lets you know it! If he knows you’re going to shower he will start asking for a shower himself. He has a very large vocabulary, we’re still deciphering all of what he’s saying, but some things are very clearly said. He’s very playful and goofy, and he enjoys all of his toys thoroughly. He’s a big wood chewer and needs his perch atop his cage and inside replaced occasionally. He loves to sit on his cage and dance across the top!

Cons:
He can obviously be very loud as can any cockatoo. As stated before, he has been a lot more vocal recently because of his life changes. Once he’s comfortable and decompresses, his old mom said he usually only has a bit of a scream fit once or twice a day. He can be hard to please at first, he really needs someone who has the commitment to earn his trust. Large bird experience is a must.

Peabody will come with his cage and all of his toys and supplies. He is not currently at the store, we have him with one of our fosters that we will put you in contact with if it seems like it could be a good fit. We just don’t have the space for him in the store right now. We require applications and at least 2-3 visits with the bird before we seriously consider an application. Please reach out if you’re interested and we can see if you could be a potential fit and put you in contact with our foster!

The older babies got to explore the aviaries today! Thankfully Sven doesn’t mind sharing his aviary, and it’s perfect for babies to be able to get around. Most of these babies are still available for deposits, and they all have such amazing personalities!

What we have available in the pictures:
Female and two male crimson bellied conures
Male turquoise green cheek
Male single factor violet (sfv) turquoise green cheek
Male sfv turquoise yellowside green cheek

I’ve included who’s who under each picture. There’s a great picture showing the difference of the normal turquoise and violet turquoise too.

Here’s all of our current available rehome birds looking for their new forever home. We know all of these birds have the perfect person out there for them!

For rehomes we require an application and at least 2-3 visits before we seriously consider any application. We want to make sure every bird ends up in the best possible home that’s the right fit for them, and pair each person with the right bird. We do have a few more birds that will be available for rehome soon that we’re still getting to know, including a female green cheek, a male Quaker and a male cockatiel. We also have other birds not in store posted on our rehoming bulletin board.

Under each picture will be more information about the bird. Please feel free to message us any questions and come in to meet them in person!

These crimson bellies are so beautiful in person! They’re also extremely snuggly and love to get pets from anyone. All three are still available and looking for their forever homes. They’re still on formula and won’t be ready to go home for a few weeks, but they’re available for deposit. Under each picture will be the band number and DNA result.

Courtesy rehoming post!🦜

These birds are NOT at the store, but their mom is going into assisted living and needs them rehomed by June 1st.

Two male cockatiels, bonded and siblings from different clutches. They are social with people but not hand tamed. They’ll come with their cage, toys, food, carrier and all other supplies. Asking a small rehoming fee to make sure they get a good home.

Please contact Diane at (509)490-6765 for more information.
