Kenkodo is meant to feel like a second home. Not an escape — just a place that's yours. Here's what you can expect when you come in for a massage: Little quotes and posters on the walls that make it feel lived in. A room cleaned just for you. A hook for your coat. Heat from the table, heat from the lamp. Warm towels. Classical piano playing softly. Your choice of oil — Aveda, TCM blends, always unscented if you need it. Water, tea, something sweet after. And at the end, a small gift — from me to you. Because you coming in is the gift that lets me do what I love.

Do you know you can massage this acupuncture point to help you calm the spirit, relieve stress and improve sleep? It is located at the forehead, at the midpoint between the two medial ends of the eyebrow. Massaging it 2-3 mins, a few times a day, you would feel the difference!

It is super cold this weekend! Hope everyone can stay warm and healthy and have some ginger tea. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, ginger can relieves the exterior and disperses Cold. Warms and circulates Qi in the Middle Burner. Calms a restless fetus.

Now we offer community acupuncture on Saturdays from 12pm to 4pm.
