We're a team of 19 roboticists, engineers, designers, and fabricators who are building a 4,000 pound Our Kickstarter campaign is live!

Project Hexapod is the blog following the Robotics Intensive: Rideable Hexapod class at Artisan's Asylum, a makerspace in Somerville, Massachusetts. 3 professional roboticists are teaching a class of 15 students how to make giant robots... by making a giant 6-legged hydraulic robot that seats two. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/projecthexapod/stompy-the-giant-rideable-walking-robot-0
