It's 10 months since we left Union Square -- if you haven't visited us in Melrose yet, it's a much bigger, nicer space and we've had a ton of fine collections come in. Open Tuesday-Saturday beginning at 11 a.m.; closed Sunday and Monday

Thanks Somerville and Union Square for 12 great years—hope we see some of you in Melrose this fall

Fresh new arrivals going out even through our last weekend in Union Square. The Rock, Soul, Hip-Hop, and Jazz sections are out till the end. Classical, Comedy and Pop Vocals are already packed, and we'll be boxing up the Country and Folk sections and all CDs today and tomorrow.

We don't want to move our $1 inventory to the new location, so as of today the budget boxes are free. Doing an art/sculpture project? Or eager to explore forgotten/obscure 12" singles? Come take away all you want, and tell your friends. We are here noon to 6 today; noon to 7 Thursday-Saturday; noon to 6 Sunday, then on to Melrose. Keeping the New Arrivals fresh and the main bins full till the last days

One more week till our last day in Union Square. Closed Monday and Tuesday, then open Wednesday through next Sunday. Fresh stuff in the New Arrivals bins right till the end, and we are still buying collections for the new shop. This week, some less popular categories like Comedy and Classical will be gone, but the Rock, Soul, Jazz and Hip-Hop sections will be intact till the last day.

Less than two weeks now till our last day in Union Square (Sunday, August 20); we're keeping the New Arrivals bins fresh till the end; all our main sections remain full while we move backstock and selected new collections to the new shop, and we are still buying collections till the last day.

BIG NEWS: We are leaving our Union Square location. Our last day is Sunday, August 20. We are still buying collections and will be keeping the New Arrivals bins fresh until the last week. If you've got gift certificates, come use them up while we are here. We will honor them at our next location, but it will be a few miles away
