What an amazing group of volunteers we have in our cycling community. We are blessed to have these great trails and a local organization that maintains them for us to enjoy. Hope to see even more familiar faces out there next trail day!

Hey All! Just a little heads up that the shop will be closed tomorrow (Saturday the 8th) so that we can get out and participate in a fantastic local event, put on by our friends at . We encourage everyone to stop by and visit with us and everyone else at the event if you’re in the area, or if you’re curious about it, definitely sign up next year for it!

In case anyone missed it when we announced it the first time, we are now located at 220 S Dubuque Street in Solon. Our new location is coming along nicely, and we are actively open - servicing and selling bikes + accessories of all sorts.

The beautiful weather we had today was a glimpse of what early spring looks like. Don’t wait to get your bike serviced! Get it done now so you are ready to ride every day the weather is sunny and warm.

Also a little shoutout to our loyal customer base. We love you and enjoy all of the words of support and appreciation we’ve gotten over this last month of working on the shop while taking care of all your cycling needs. ❤️🚲

New Year, New Look!

2025 is starting with a change for Briar Ridge Bikes. If you noticed the empty space at 120 W Main St #2 (our home since opening in 2021), don’t be alarmed. We have just relocated to 220 S Dubuque Street, and the distance from the past location is maybe a 30 second bike ride away.

We are planning to open up tomorrow and resume normal hours for the year going forward, but bear with us while we continue to work on and polish up the space we will be calling home for the foreseeable future. Stop on by, check it out, come say hi, and if you need any bike work done or want to start 2025 off with a new bike or gear, then let’s make it happen for you!

Soma Wolverine Custom Build 🎃💥

It’s about time we start sharing all the cool things we’ve had the privilege to work on and build up this year, but were too busy to do in the warmer months!

This beautiful Orange Wolverine build started out as a conversation back in February with our good friend Peter. Funny enough, even though brews were consumed while initially discussing it, this build started around May with some cool ideas from him of what events and riding he wanted to do on it. With a little input from us on how to go about achieving that, the Wolverine came together. And trust us, this thing rides even better than it looks, which is an impressive feat for sure.

Built up with a GRX 2x11 groupset for ultimate in long term maintenance-free riding, EC70 AX carbon wheels inside of Cinturato H 700x45c tires. Not too mention, the light, versatile, and aesthetically pleasing WCS Adventure Fork and X-Track carbon pedals.

Peter has since put this bike through the paces riding it all over and conquering heavy mud conditions in the big event he wanted it for!
