In June 2000 I left my faculty job at the University of Iowa and used all of my knowledge about digital photography to open a small business: Wilderness Studio.

A leaking drain pipe in the computer room made me move the 2023 Mac computer to the shooting studio. After some repairs to drywall and carpeting I’ll move it back to the computer room. The big printers are still printing and the digitizing cameras are still shooting. All the prints and art are safe and nothing was damaged. The computer room will look great with fresh paint and new carpets.
