Most parents work pretty hard to get their kids to make a habit of saying please and thank you. Certainly, it's a nice habit to develop. But today as we finish Acts 9 and take a sneak peek at Acts 10, it seems that perhaps that habit can rob God of the glory, honor, and praise he is due. Join us as we consider how important it is to consider the source and "thank GOD."

The last few chapters of Acts have revealed some very difficult times in the early life of Christ's Church. It doesn't get better today. Opposition is still fierce. However, we do find something quite surprising in today's passage. Apparently, circumstances did not deprive the Church of something we could all probably use a lot more of: PEACE. How did they get it? Join us as we explore that very question.

As we've gone through the book of Acts, we've seen some amazing things happen as the Holy Spirit energized God's people for mission. But there's nothing quite like what we see this week. The most hate filled opponent of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his Church is brought to faith. It happens in a very dramatic way, more so than most! With all his confidence and all his resources pointed in one direction, God shows up and tells him that he has been as wrong as anyone could ever be.
