The Rustic Arrow

This piece received its makeover this week. Painted in fusion cashmere and distressed, I kinda fell in love with it. I may have a hard time bringing this one to the shop. I think it looks pretty good where it’s at. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This table was donated by a customer for Junk to Jazz’s Second Chances program! One of the legs was damaged so it’s sporting new legs! She was cleaned, lightly sanded, and painted in Fusion Victorian Lace. Edges were distressed before applying IOD transfer. The table is now sealed and ready for its new home. I was thinking it would make a cute coffee table!

The life of maker/crafter/small business owner - pivot, pivot, pivot! I last minute booked a vendor event and it's on Sunday. Prepping like crazy this week - lots of beach, lake, and Americana items. I LOVE the soft color palette I chose for this year's beach/lake decor. ⚓

June 1 check-in (on June 2 🙃). Time to high-five ourselves for surviving May and set some crazy ambitious goals for the month ahead. What kind of awesomeness will you unleash in June? 🤔

She’s all done! A reminder of the steps from start to finish...

1. Removed the dated hardware
2. Cleaned with Fusion TSP
3. Sanded where needed
4. Apply Fusion Mineral Paint in the color Brook.
5. Lightly sanded with fine sand paper to allow the original wood color to peek through.
6. Dry brushed the center of the top using Fusion Wood Wick, Victorian Lace, and Brook.
7. Stained the outer top and bottom
8. Sealed with Fusion's Polyurethane in flat
9. Added new hardware

She's now at Junk to Jazz Shillington ready for her next chapter.
