Church is a refuge from the chaos of everyday life. Sunday Sacrament meetings begin at 9:00-11:00AM or 10:30-12:30PM. Did you know we have a fabulous youth program on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings too. Contact your local building for more information. We, as a Stake have an assignment to sleep with the homeless on Wednesday nights. We are in desperate need of two men to fulfill that assignment for Wednesday December 27. If you might be available, please call Tony Hoyle at 805.551.1693.

M. Russell Ballard passed away yesterday; what a great leader he is, and was. He loved his ancestral heritage and lived a life that Hyrum and Joseph would be proud of. He honored the brand and enhanced the legacy.

Jesus taught us to love one another. It doesn’t matter your age, what country you’re from, or whether you prefer soccer or basketball—everyone can find a way to help those around them. Sharing the light of Jesus Christ can be as simple as a smile or a hug.

One of the things the world needs a lot more of is Encouragers.... Be that Light!
Our culture is so filled with people who find fault, who cause shame, who thrive on division and contention. I don’t know about you but I’m weary of all of it. Life is hard enough on its own. What we don’t need is more people calling us out about our shortcomings. Bringing us down is definitely not the answer.
Sometimes I wonder if people realize that most are just doing the very best they can with what they have going on in our lives today.
Be the light for someone else today!
