✨CAVA student and K12 Talent Showdown finalist Francesco was featured in the Los Angeles Times for balancing online learning with life as a fifth-generation circus performer 🎪📚. Performing across Southern California with the Caballero Circus while staying dedicated to his education with CAVA—amazing!

Did you know CAVA has successful Esports team that competes throughout the school year? Check out the new CAVA Bears Esports jerseys for the 26-27 school year.
Senior, Kate H., proudly sports the team’s new look.
Kate joined Varsity Esports two years ago when K12 began the Smash Bros league. She was the only varsity girl competitor nationally. Kate is known as Flex Flame. She helped lead CAVA to 2nd place this Spring. She looks forward to returning as assistant Smash Bros Team Coach next year as a first year college student.

In an episode of Kids Teach, K12 CEO James Rhyu explores the fascinating world of marine science with CAVA student Dana.
Dana is an honor roll student, eSports competitor, aspiring aviator—and a dedicated aquarium hobbyist. As the proud caretaker of his pet turtle, Miracle, he shares how his home aquarium has become a powerful hands-on science lesson.
Watch as Dana teaches James how caring for his aquarium helps him understand complex ecosystems, biology, and responsibility in a meaningful, real-world way.

We are thrilled to announce that The Smooth Operators and * The Toy_Maker's Workshop * teams from CAVA are advancing to the Final Round in the K12 Robotics League! The Final Round will be on June 10, 2026. In the final round, teams will transition from using their Virtual Robotics Toolkit robot to a physical version while competing on a physical challenge mat.
One winning team per grade-band will be named the K12 Robotics League Champion, plus receive a $500 prize and an official K12 Robotics League Trophy.
