Miss Rodeo Oregon

Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Memorial Day is more than the start of summer, it’s a time to honor the heroes who gave everything so we can live the lives we cherish. Their courage, selflessness, and love for this country will never be forgotten.

I have the privilege of honoring our troops and fallen heroes at every rodeo performance, standing in the arena, hand over heart, as we pay tribute to those who serve and those we’ve lost. It is a reminder that the freedoms we celebrate are not free. Today, and every day, I am deeply grateful for their sacrifice and proud to carry on this tradition of remembrance.

Sometimes if my head wasn’t attached to my neck I would for sure leave it behind! I forgot to share my last day at the Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo!

The day was filled with excitement and laughter! We had a Rascal Rodeo in the morning then over to the queens luncheon and then off to the family fun center which had arcade games, bumper boats, mini golf and of course us queens had to burn some rubber on the go kart track! I was paired with the best co pilot, JoJo and we lapped some people!!! Then I got to round out my trip with the final performance for the rodeo with grand entry, kids boot race and helping set the barrels.

Thank you to Queen Madison and Teen Queen Gracie for inviting me out to your rodeo and letting me join you for all the fun! Thank you Abby MRO 2024 for letting me borrow the iconic “Woolies” for the final performance!

Do you all remember that post from a while back when I was talking about my job as a taxidermist and prepping a Bear for a pack mount?

Yesterday I was able to hand-deliver the finished product back to the hunter! I don’t think he was expecting to meet Miss Rodeo Oregon to hand him back to the bear! And today after a school visit in Union County I picked up another bear while dressed as MRO!
