I had a lovely evening yesterday celebrating the important work of on behalf of our neighbors with autism. For nearly 50 years CSAAC has provided compassionate, individualized support for individuals with autism, including residential living, access to employment, and educational programs. It was also nice to celebrate .katz, who received an award recognizing his decades of service, and to catch up with . Thanks to for the invite!

CALLING ALL CANVASSERS!

With just ten weekends to go before the June 23 primary, we’re officially in crunch time. We are mobilizing a grassroots army of supporters to meet voters at their homes and outside of polling places.

We need field experts who can help recruit and train canvassers, cut turf, and coordinate with Progressive Maryland on joint canvassing efforts in May.

If you are ready to help us beat the pavement, sign up to volunteer on our campaign website or just send me a quick DM!

This weekend, I’ll be canvassing during the following hours. Let me know if you’re interesting in joining me:

Saturday 4/18: 2pm-6pm ET
Sunday 4/19: 5pm-7pm ET

See you on the trail,
Sebastian

Many thanks to the Northwood Four Corners Civic Association for hosting yesterday’s candidate forum! We had a great time hearing from neighbors about the issues that matter most to them: housing, education, climate and sustainability, and the impact of federal cuts on our economy.

We’re proud to have the endorsement of Progressive Maryland, which represents over 120,000 members statewide. As your delegate, I will support bold progressive action to reduce costs for working families, stand up to special interests, unrig our economy, and invest in people — not AI. Join us!

I have big news to share with you -- I'm running for State Delegate to represent District 19 in the Maryland General Assembly.

I’m running for state delegate because I love my community, and I love my country. The investments and policy commitments that gave my mother a second chance and made my story possible — affordable housing, livable wages, excellent schooling — are increasingly out of reach for too many families.

To protect our democracy and secure our future, we need leaders who can deliver on their promises and preserve opportunities for working families. We need leaders who will stand up to special interests and insist that the wealthy pay their fair share. We need leaders with the courage to make difficult decisions, and the wisdom to invest in our people.

I need your vote, and your help! You can visit the links in my bio to volunteer with our campaign, and I hope you'll consider a donation to our grassroots team. And please share the news with your D-19 neighbors!

Thanks everyone for all your kind birthday wishes! If you know anything about me, you know what I most want for my birthday: a Democratic trifecta in the White House, Senate and House of Representatives!

You can help make my birthday wish come true by working to elect Democrats here in Maryland! Here are two ways:

1) Donate to the Montgomery County Democratic Party! Your donation will support our GOTV efforts and voter education at polling stations throughout the fall: https://mcdcc.org/donor

2) Volunteer for phonebanking, canvassing and other events with MD Dems: https://www.mobilize.us/mddems/

The election is just 57 days away and polling shows the presidential race will be the closest in at least 60 years! We need all hands on deck in the final stretch!

Honored to receive the endorsement of the Association of Black Democrats of Montgomery County! I will work to make our local Democratic Party more diverse, more effective, and more engaged with all of our communities.

We're proud to announce our endorsements for the 2022 Maryland Democratic Primary! We thank our endorsement committee (composed of Exec Board members not seeking elected office + Black political & community leaders) for their hard work choosing among a talented candidate pool.

The committee looked for value alignment + history of engagement in the Black community + support for policies that will achieve a positive impact on our priorities in areas such as education, economic advancement, criminal justice reform, and many more.

With the July 19th Democratic primary rapidly approaching, we intend to help activate Black democrats across Montgomery County and support our candidates on to victory!
