Yes, we can expand our usable "chest voice" range with healthy technique 🤷🏽♂️. BUT... Don't be afraid to allow your voice to transition into a "mix" or "head", when necessary 🙏🏽😌. It may offer the exact tonal color/quality you're looking for 😊.
Of course, there’s SOOO much more to this. But an “Ocean Exhale” is an easy/safe place to start 🙂👍🏽

Got this text tonight from a student • I say it all the time: I don’t believe in debating technique/ pedagogy—it either works or it doesn’t 🤷🏾♂️. The voice either heals or it doesn’t 💁🏾♂️. The singer either ACES THE AUDITION 🙌🏽 🥳 (see screenshot) or they don’t. One thing I’m immensely proud of is that my students CONSISTENTLY get booked, signed, featured, and PAY THEIR BILLS with their voices 😏👍🏽. 🤷🏾♂️
