The Rotations Beat Volume 1: "Beat Down" is out now on Bandcamp! And a continuous mix is on the Rotations Youtube Page.

It's Free 99, but if you feel what you're hearing, want to support growth and equipment upgrades, you can donate when you download the project from Bandcamp via paypal.

I decided to put some of these beats out from myself and some of the guys who show up on the regular and make it sonically interesting.

I've heard a lot of positive feedback regarding this project so far, so give it a listen and hear another unique contribution to D.C. Metro Area/DelMarVa/MiddleEast Coast Hip Hop from Rotations.

No Gimmicks, just raw beats from guys that stay consistent......

So, TODAY is the 8th anniversary of Rotations..

This event was started to provide a place for beatmakers/Producers to play their beats for each other and fans of the sound WITHOUT favoritism, Nepotism or any other silly metric in which people are approved or disapproved by so called gate keepers (No Talent Suckers with resources).

This has always been about the Beat, which is the foundation of this thing we call Hip Hop. Sure, the M.C. popped up when the DJ's started pulling crowds, Then B-Boying happened and even though people were writing on trains and walls years before Hip Hop was a thing, that was adopted into the culture. BUT It all started with BEATS that came from Records.

ALOT of people have rolled through over the years and ALOT of people couldn't hang when the beats have to speak for them, not who you're down with/Went to School With or who you're related to.

I saw a void and filled it. I'm glad to report the group of Gentlemen that make it out weekly or Bi Weekly have proven by actions that they're on the same page.

Salute to All those who have promoted, spread the word, Contributed, Participated and spectated over the years. This is a movement which has outlasted everybody else, Gave people the idea to Bite and do beat showcases and cyphers up and down the coast (You're Welcome) And provided a Proving Ground for people who make beats in the area and beyond. The Reach is expanding and people are supporting it.

Come Through Tomorrow and enjoy some raw beats from 7-10PM and be a part of D.C. Metro Area Hip Hop History.
