The late James Van Der Beek’s ex-wife, Heather McComb, got remarried to actor Scott Michael Campbell, she announced Sunday.

McComb shared wedding pics from her big day on Instagram, including from their outdoor ceremony in Montana. The bride wore sparkly white cowboy boots with socks reading “I [heart] my husband.”

She clearly had an eventful time at her wedding, as she later posted a pic of her socks, which had turned dirty, and the silver and white sneakers she changed into.

🚨Two-Week Old, Mom, Grandmother Stabbed to Death.🚨

A tragic stabbing in Modesto, California, took the lives of a grandmother, her daughter, and a two-week-old baby on May 28th.

Officers responded to reports of a disturbance at a home. They found a 23-year-old woman outside with multiple stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Inside the residence, authorities located a 54-year-old woman and an infant, both suffering from apparent stab wounds. The older woman died at the scene, while the baby was rushed to a hospital but later passed away.

The victims have been identified as Maria Sylvia Nunez-Villalobos, 54, her daughter Fabiola Gonzalez-Nunez, 23, and Fabiola's newborn son, Mateo Gonzalez.

Joaquin Escoto, 28, was arrested that same day. Authorities say he was located hiding in a nearby residence after a search that involved SWAT and hostage negotiators. It's believe Escoto lived at the home with the victims.

🚨 CHAOS ERUPTS DURING '60 MINUTES' MEETING: According to Jeremy Barr of Puck News, longtime 60 Minutes correspondent Scott Pelley reportedly confronted new executive producer Nick Bilton and another company executive during a heated meeting Monday morning, strongly pushing back against last week's firings.

The report says producers in the room showed support for Pelley.

And Pelley reportedly didn't hold back. According to Barr, he directly called out Bari Weiss, saying: “She’s murdering 60 Minutes. She does not love this place. She was brought in to kill it and is doing exactly that.”

🚨BREAKING: Human remains belonging to a lab employee have been found in the Carson National Forest in New Mexico.

Investigators say a gun was found near the remains of Melissa Casias, who worked at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Casias was last seen alive on June 26, 2025.

Casias' husband, Mark, says she dropped him off at the lab where they were both employed on the day she disappeared.

Melissa told her husband that she was working at another location within the lab that day. Mark says he later received a call from his wife's supervisor, who said she never showed up for work.

Casias reportedly ended up working from home that day. Around midday, she dropped lunch off for her daughter.

The couple's daughter says she later found her mom's belongings, including her phone, which was reset to factory settings, at their home.

A family friend claims to have seen Melissa walking on State Road 518.

Former FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker says Melissa Casias may have been a target for a potential abduction, according to the Daily Mail.

"In a classified lab, or just a high clearance lab, they would basically be in the know on what's going on. And it wouldn't be the first time their administrative assistant has been targeted," he said.

🚨Principal Arrested After Ra**ng a Student

Lucas Tanney, 40, principal of Valley Lutheran School in Waterloo, Iowa. He also served as the victim’s track coach.

Tanney was arrested on a felony charge of sexual exploitation by a school employee.

Authorities say Tanney had an inappropriate sexual relationship with a juvenile female student.

The unlawful sexual conduct took place at Tanney’s home.

Tanney was taken into custody without incident on Friday and booked into the Black Hawk County Jail.

He faces up to only 5 years in prison if convicted.

Quatavia Givens, 33, pleaded guilty to the murder of 4-year-old Darnell Gray in October of 2018 in Jefferson City; the boy was beaten and smothered

The case unfolded in Jefferson City, Missouri, where Quatavia Givens, 33, was babysitting Darnell Gray in October 2018. Prosecutors say she killed the child, hid his body in a wooded area, and then called police the next morning, claiming he had vanished.
Givens told investigators the boy either ran away or was abducted, saying he left with a backpack, cookies, and juice boxes. She then joined volunteers in a six-day search, appearing in news interviews and helping canvass neighborhoods.

“She had her story like planned out,” search volunteer Kathy Mueller said at the time. Another volunteer later described Givens as “a master manipulator” after learning the truth.
Darnell’s father, Kijuanis Gray, said he had trusted Givens to watch his son. “That’s my only child,” he said. “I wasn’t expecting her to do this to him.”

Police later found Darnell’s body in the woods. According to court records, Givens admitted, “I may have hit him wrong,” and confessed to hiding his body. An autopsy determined the child died from blunt force trauma and smothering.

Givens pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, child abuse, and abandonment of a co**se. She was sentenced to life in prison plus 15 years, with the possibility of parole after 30 years.

Prosecutors said delays in the case were caused by a lengthy autopsy process and competency evaluations. They called the plea a step toward justice for Darnell and closure for the community.

🚨JUST IN: Ricky Adkins, 36, will be charged with manslaughter following a May 28, 2026, deputy-involved shooting in Vance, Alabama, that left his sister, Kristie Lynn Adkins, 43, dead.

Deputies with the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office responded at 5 a.m. Thursday to a home in Vance. They were trying to find 36-year-old Ricky Adkins, who was wanted on multiple warrants.

Deputies found Ricky Adkins in a tent behind the house with his sister, 43-year-old Kristie Adkins. The siblings reportedly tried to hide Ricky Adkins’ identity from deputies using false names and a face covering.

When deputies asked Ricky Adkins to remove the covering, he allegedly drew a pellet gun that was designed to look like a handgun and pointed it at the deputies over his sister’s shoulder.

“It was a replica of a Smith and Wesson M&P Shield. It was completely indistinguishable from an actual weapon that fires a projectile or bullet, so the deputies reacted appropriately with the force that was necessary at that time,” said Capt. Marty Sellers of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit.

Authorities say deputies fired, hitting both Ricky and Kristie Adkins, the latter of whom died from her injuries.

Ricky Adkins, who was hit by multiple rounds, received life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. His stepfather, Phillip Atchinson, says he is currently on breathing support.

“Both are my stepkids. I love both of them. I was trying my best to help both of them get their lives back in order. This right here is unbelievable. You gotta be strong. I got a strong wife, and I’m gonna be as strong as she is,” Atchinson said.

Authorities say Ricky Adkins is in “critical but stable” condition and is expected to survive. Officers have remained at the hospital with him since he is in custody.

“You know body cams will tell the truth about what happened,” Atchinson said. “We like to believe our law enforcement, but... there’s no need to unload six or eight times into a blind tent. But they got their reasons for doing that and justified. Only time will tell. The truth will come out.”

At a Friday news conference, Sellers said Ricky Adkins will be served a warrant for manslaughter upon his release from the hospital. He will also be served the two warrants deputies were originally trying to serve, which are for certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm and menacing.

“Mr. Adkins created the circumstances that led to Ms. Adkins’ death. Due to this, the warrant was obtained,” the VCU said.

Dave Fiji and a helicopter pilot died Friday night when a Robinson R66 crashed near the Dawsonville wedding venue where Fiji had just married his wife, Jesni.

“My son was so happy,” Dave’s father, George Fiji, said.

Jesni survived the crash and is recovering at a metro Atlanta hospital.
About 400 guests attended the couple’s wedding Friday night at The Revere in Dawsonville.
