Shiva Guide

In the Jewish community, the ritual
that follows the time of death of a
loved one is called ‘sitting Shiva’.

The
ritual begins immediately after the
burial of the loved one and typically
lasts for seven days. “Sitting Shiva”
is indeed a challenging tradition
among the Jews. Timely arrangements
and information are required by the
mourners during this time.
