Loving my new obsession with making wild fermented sodas. This one is white pine and the video shows the importance of controlling the CO2 build up by burping the bottle. Also, I’m finding that 3-4 days of open top (covering with a cheese cloth to keep out fruit flies) is a great way to get the soda going before transferring into your flip top bottles. Hoping to share some fun fermentation tips with my new friends!

This Saturday I will be hosting a small workshop where you can learn how to make your own wild fermented soda. We will work with Ginger, pine needles, herbs and wild berries and craft our own nonalcoholic beverages to enjoy for the summer months. Space is limited. Event information in the comments.

Honey is full of potent medicine. Don’t make syrups by cooking 1 part honey with 1 part water. Rather you simmer your berries roots and herbs then strain and let them cool down some. Then add equal parts honey and stir. 🍯🌅🌿💚

It’s like all the birds join together in welcoming a new day of life. They taper off after 10-15 minutes but when the full chorus is singing it is so beautiful to witness. What if we could all start our days together with positive affirmations and songs of joyous praise to be able to savor another day of life? This whole Earth would vibrate differently. Makes you wonder.
