The Lord's Prayer was never meant to be something you rush through before a meal or repeat without thinking.
It is an invitation into a relationship.
Every line draws you closer to God, reminding you who He is, surrendering your will to His, trusting Him with your needs, and choosing to walk in forgiveness and dependence every single day.
If you need prayer today, send us a DM. We'd love to pray with you.
When the storms of life hit, do you put your head down or look up, knowing God is there?
A girl was caught in a rainstorm on her way home, drenched and running for shelter. Her father, watching from the window, rushed to meet her with a blanket. "I saw you in the rain," he said. "Why, with every bolt of lightning, did you stop running to look up and smile?"
"Oh," she said, "I stopped to look up because God was taking my picture!"
What is your response when storms come? When you face setbacks in your relationship with God—unexpected trials, unanswered prayers, seasons of silence—do you turn away, or do you turn your face toward Him?
Paul writes, "...We also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope..." (Romans 5:3-5, NKJV). This isn't denial or toxic positivity. It's the deep trust that God is present in the storm, working even when we can't see it, producing something eternal in us through temporary pain.
This week explores how we respond when life is challenging and how we might use life's setbacks to strengthen, not weaken, our most important relationship.
How do you respond to storms? Join Mark Finley and discover how setbacks can deepen our trust in God.

Sometimes it's difficult to fathom that our God is our Father, He made and cares for us, and He resides in Heaven. Take the opportunity to pray this prayer with us, calling Him Father in Heaven, letting the truth of it land, and accepting He is Who He says He is.
A prayer for anyone carrying the pain of losing someone they love. You are not alone in this.
