Rick Remmers was elected a general vice president of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists on Sunday, October 11, during the 2026 Annual Council. The General Conference (GC) Executive Committee voted to elect Remmers, and he will take on his new responsibilities immediately.

What does the sky look like where you live?
Psalm 19 says the heavens declare His glory. We want to declare it all over the internet! Would you spend some time gazing into the sky today and tell us what you learn about our Creator God?

For every problem sin created, Jesus is the answer. When He returns, He promises to get rid of the root of the problem and make everything new (Revelation 21:5).

Our history reminds us that God has led His people with purpose. As we learn from those who faithfully carried the Advent message before us, we are called to remain grounded in Scripture, attentive to God’s leading, and committed to His mission. Our heritage is not only something to remember. It is a reminder that the work continues through us today.

An apple tree never eats its own apples. It receives what it needs from its source—and produces fruit that nourishes someone else.
Maybe your God-given gifts work the same way.
That may be why you can encourage someone while you’re discouraged. Why you can speak hope while walking through your own difficult season. God can produce something through you that someone else needs, even while He is still working in you.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

Your gift isn’t only evidence that God has blessed you. It’s an opportunity for God to bless someone through you.
So instead of only asking, “God, what’s my gift?” try asking:
“God, who needs the fruit You’ve placed in my life?”

As you start the week, consider what God may have in store for you. Take time each morning to ask Him to show you the good works He has planned. We believe He will answer this prayer!

So often we try to fix everything on our own—carrying the weight, overthinking the outcomes, and stressing about what we can’t control—but God never asked us to do it alone. He invites us to bring everything to Him in prayer.

Instead of focusing on the fruit, maybe we need to try praying for the tree! When we pray and receive the Holy Spirit, revival and reformation will come naturally. That's a fact! Believe it? Comment "Amen!"
