PBrodaz Announce The Release of their New Single “Maka Tswa Tsi”
Washington DC, December 12, 2015,: The Party Brodaz (PBRODAZ) are once again about to send shock waves through the African music industry. Brace yourself, for this time it will be an earthquake.
The PBrodaz rose to prominence in 2012 with the release of their hit single “Do It Your Way” which was well received across America, Europe and Africa. PBrodaz went on to collaborate with several African music industry giants like Timaya, Terry G, Master Kraft and Clarence Peters. Their unique talent and sublime flow eventually caught the attention of US based music label, Tawani Productions where they subsequently signed a 5-year production deal. Today, because of their mega-hit single, “La Dance Kokoriko”, PBrodaz are popularly known as "Kokoriko Masters". This ground breaking collaborative effort featuring the king of makossa zouk Petit Pays Rabba Rabbi Effatta, has been in constant rotation on Trace Africa, the biggest television outlet promoting African Music since its release on March 9th 2014. Now they are poised to do it again with yet another hit “Maka Tswa Tsi” ft. Dj Arafat Temistocle.
This highly anticipated title which is scheduled for worldwide release on December 18th 2015, is a slang from the PBrodaz native language Bafut. The direct translation in pidgin means “ah go hold waist”, in English “ I will grab the waist” and in French “attraper le Bondo”. “Maka Tswa Tsi” also features Kora Award winner, king DJ Arafat Temistocle, Young D. One of Nigeria's finest producers and Shamack Allharamadji hailed as one of the best Cameroonian video directors.
“Maka Tswa Tsi” is an infectious blend of Afro beats and Makossa, a music genre which the PBrodaz intend to set the trend and dominate. As Korikoko did, this single is well positioned to have the same success.
