A few in progress vase shots!
That second picture shows today’s coffee companion which is a mug from .staley_art_and_life. I got that during a great workshop at , which is also where I got the black slip recipe that’s on these pots. Excited to see these little fellas get fired! Bclay with wedged in silica sand which in an atmospheric kiln will melt just enough to create a halo effect, a little melted glass around a white speckle. It will be good to see how that black slip interacts with it.
