Crops are in the ground! Hand planted quite a variety this year. Covered LOTS of ground. From pumpkins to squash to peppers, basil and melons and whole lot more, it’s going to be a bumper crop this year! We also increased the field corn and the sweet corn has been growing nicely. 🌽

Big day today for our sheepies! Shearing is now completed in preparation for lambing next month. Huge thank you to Paul Borgialli for coming out and giving us an absolute clinic! We’re excited to get our wool processed soon and continue this huge adventure, learning one step at a time!
It feels like I should be spreading fertilizer then I look at the calendar…
This weather is insane

Today we start a new adventure raising wool and meat sheep. 4H club lambs have been a great starting point and now we’re ready for more! Headed over the mountain to pick up our bred ewes. So excited!

We were worried about the rain coming tomorrow but, again, God said, ‘I got this’ and gave us a gorgeous warm day with just the breeze we needed to squeeze out a third cutting.
