Wow, that is the best news ever.
We cannot say Thank You enough to Kitsap Bank and the Edg3 Fund team! To everyone who supported us and loves our bees and honey as much as we do! We are humbly honored by this award and eager to see what great things are coming to Sequim Bee Farm! (Ok, I can stop shaking anytime now!)

This time last year there were cherry and plum blossoms all around town. Yeah. This year a split polar vortex is bringing colder weather. The blossoms are daring to show a hint of color, but Frost on the ground pushes back. A few bold daffodils show off yellow, but in all, Spring still hides. There is something Hitchcockian about crows in the snow. Do they portend evil? Is something chilling coming? Well, more snow is forecast for today. We've recovered from the influx of visitors to the Lavender Festival. Now it only takes 5 minutes to drive a car from The Co-op to Walmart, not 20. And while every merchant and lavender farmer is grateful for the visitors, the rest of us are grateful we can get from one end of town to the other again. Lavender covered Sequim, and this weekend later a deeper shade of purple splashed around Joyce. [ 163 more words ]

In life, Stolli, the big black dog shared more love than any dog around. Maybe even Lassie, if a statistician could determine love generated on a per-capita basis. Even without statistics, the reaction of the town after Stolli's memorial statue was stolen, proves it beyond question. Stolli's main achievement was to lie on the asphalt on the corner of Hendrickson and Priest Roads. [ 198 more words ]
