Meet Caliber aka Lil c This guy is 2 years old and full Arabian. He has a personality but, like skippy, he seems to have a drive to chase and will hopefully be a great cattle horse. This sweet boy is the son of Tristan’s favorite mare and she has had the pleasure of knowing him for all but 3 hours of his life. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for him!

Lumière here aka Lumi. This is a special guy as he is the son of Agathe’s favorite mare. This was a heartfelt moment as Agathe watched him enter this world. He is 3/4 Arabian and 1/4 quarter, with the quarter showing strong. This adorable guy is the youngest of the herd, just 4 months shy of 2 years old. We love how food motivated and calm he is. He’s going to make the best riding partner one day!

Meet Skipper aka Skippy! The newly 4 year old, full Arabian, is just starting his life under saddle. Son of Monster, endurance star. With only about 10 rides, we know this guy will be a great ride. With a puppy dog personality, Skippy always has a want to please. His eagerness to chase other animals makes us think he’ll be a great cattle horse one day.

Meet Badger! This boy is 7 years old, 1/2 Arabian 1/2 paint, and the sweetest in your pocket horse. He’s green under saddle but has done a few endurance rides and is a smooth ride. He is pretty calm and overall amazing!

For our first spotlight animal at Yellow Cinch Ranch, we’d like to introduce Tally! This 28 year old gelding, 1/2 Arabian 1/2 saddlebred, has s***k like he’s in his younger teens and despite being retired, doesn’t seem to slow down one bit. A favorite among the herd, Tally spent his first years of life racing to then stride into the endurance world and become the 2024 World champion equathon horse. The sweetest boy who is the best teacher for the young ones and he sure knows how to take care of any rider on his back.

Meet Tristan! Co-owner and manager of Yellow Cinch Ranch. She graduated from Cal Poly SLO with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science. Growing up, she showed pigs in her local 4-H group. Tristan has had the privilege of working with a dressage trainer where she gained most of her horse knowledge and first learned to ride. Then life took her to an Arabian breeding facility, Varian Arabians, throughout college and after moving to the Bay Area, she now works with an equine vet. She is currently in RVT school and will be the onsite RVT for the property. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and watching supercross.

Meet Agathe! Co-owner and manager of Yellow Cinch Ranch. She graduated from Cal Poly SLO with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science. It has always been a life long dream of Agathe’s to have her own equestrian facility, a dream she shared with her grandfather. With over 12 years of riding experience, Agathe has spent most of that time out on the trails doing endurance. Along with endurance, she has dabbled in some western disciplines and even done some c**t starting. In her spare time, she enjoys ultra running and hiking with her dog. Agathe’s passion is to teach lessons and share the joy of horseback riding as well as spread the knowledge of endurance riding to anyone interested.

Hi! We are Yellow Cinch Ranch. Located in Sebastopol CA, we are an up and coming boarding facility that will accommodate pasture boarding, personal pastures, and mare motels. Turnouts, round pen and an arena on site and ability to go on a trail ride along the 27 acre property perimeter. General lessons are available as well as endurance riding lessons and mentorship for endurance rides. We look forward to opening our doors later this year!
