I dove right into the art medium of mosaics, and this is what happened! I didn’t have to cut any pieces of glass for this piece… I just used my collection of scrap glass from various stained glass projects! 🤩💫

As a stained glass artist, I’ve wanted to try mosaics for a while! It’s much less involved than stained glass and a lot easier, but man is it messy!

I used a flat canvas panel as the base, and I plan to build a simple frame for it. So literally, this is a mosaic “painting” using glass shards instead of paint! 💠✨

It is an Agave growing in the desert. 🌵☀️💚✨

This is a fun grapevine dreamcatcher that depicts all 7 subtle energy centers in the body, starting with the root and climbing the ladder to the crown.
This is a unique plant holder made specifically for propagating plant cuttings or growing plants in water. The macrame acts as a propping system for the glass bottle, and the bottle acts as a plant propagation vessel. The bottle is designed to hold water, and the construction of this piece factors in the weight of the materials involved, the water, and the plants. It is structurally sound and made to last. Though the bottle is securely supported by its macrame pocket, it is designed to be easily removed for the purpose of cleaning the glass and changing out the water.

Besides plant propagation, the bottle could serve a couple other purposes! You could use it as a vase for flowers, or an oil reservoir for reed diffusers. This specific apothecary bottle comes with a cork lid, so you could use it to hold moon water or essential oils. 💧🌙
