We submitted our application for our snack bar license, which means that soon you will be able to enjoy a b**r or a glass of w**e while you craft. Maybe we’ll even have Hailey | W**e Podcast + Seattle Tastings back with her down to earth w**e tasting class! Any requests for b**r, w**e, or NA options? Let us know!

Work with us!! ✨The Works is looking for a part-time Maker Bar & Retail Associate to join our team at our new West Seattle studio. In this role, you will welcome guests at the Maker Bar, help customers in our retail shop, serve w**e and b**r, and host classes and private events around Seattle. If you love making things, enjoy people, and feel comfortable speaking in front of a group, we would love to meet you.

Here are the details:
- We need someone who is available every Saturday 9:30am to 6pm, plus occasional weekday shifts (up to 15 hours per week)
- Pay starts at $22/hour, with an annual review and raise each January
- You will receive a 25% staff discount and a $500 annual continuing education budget
- We will cover your MAST permit training if you need it

A college degree is not required. We strongly encourage women, people of color, LGBTQ people, and members of other marginalized communities to apply. Everyone is welcome at The Works, always.

We’re bringing Moss Wall Art to Future Primitive Brewing this Wednesday night! Choose a mini or full-size frame and build your own composition using preserved moss. The best part is this is for everybody, no green thumb required. These beauties require no watering, no sunlight, and no upkeep. Oh, maybe the real best part is you can sip on a delicious brew while you create.

Our first West Seattle class schedule is here, and it’s officially getting real! We’re planning an early November opening (more on that soon), and classes kick off just after Thanksgiving.

Meet the newest member of The Works’ team, Rebecca! Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Rebecca is a Chicana artist and creative with a passion for whimsical design, handmade work, and bringing people together through creative experiences. Through her own creative business, she has designed and taught hands-on faux cake workshops, developing experience in workshop facilitation, teaching, and event creation. Her work with the El Paso Museums and Cultural Affairs Department also gave her the opportunity to collaborate with local businesses and community members to create engaging programs and experiences. She is excited to bring her creativity, experience, and love of community to The Works.
