I want to announce a new side quest I’m perusing in 2026. You might have seen a few stories about some live sound gigs I’ve been supporting with Sofar Sounds, this is just the start. I never really had a desire to get into live sound the after college, but my experience at local shows has been disappointing more often than not. Bad show mixes, unbearably slow set changes, FOH engineers on phones surfing TikTok, generally not playing attention, and missing key solos or performance features during a set. The list goes on…

Live sound is more attention to detail than mastering. There are no revisions, no replaying the song again for fine tuning, you get it right or you mess it up. Seattle has been a music hub for many years and the local musicians deserve a great live show! I want to use my mastering expertise to help level up live sound in a way that makes you feel something, gives you goosebumps, and maybe brings you to tears. I’m going to master live sound! 😉

Stay tuned! I’m getting my chops up with more low pressure smaller shows, but I’m feeling really close to expanding really soon to larger venues, bigger bands, and full digital boards with the ultimate control! If anyone can open some doors around that aspect let me know! Even if it’s just an on-call opportunity.

No stranger to this feed is my guy one of the most genuine and devoted artists you’ll ever meet. I don’t think many people understand how hard he’s working for this trajectory.

My introduction to this journey started 3 years ago on this dining room table at my family’s house. I don’t think a lot of people know this, but each year I always leave Seattle for a little holiday season getaway and work remotely at my parent’s place. Perks of working on headphones, the workstation can travel with me! Some of the biggest songs I’ve mastered were done at this table!

It was mid-December 2022 when the final mixes for LINDENAVE! were delivered to me and I knew at that moment this was the start of something big. Fresh off of a trip to Paris for a mastering masterclass with my favorite mastering engineer and an absolute legend in the industry, I was definitely inspired and in the zone. I put my all into everything I work on, but that December in particular was electric! Needless to say masters turned out incredible!

Now 3 years later and several other projects behind in he has reached some astonishing numbers and milestones: 500,000+ monthly listeners, passing 20,000,000 streams in a single year, worldwide growth, and so much more! Honored to say that I’ve proudly mastered every single release for this incredible artist and team! Loyalty in this industry is rare so these moments are cherished. The journey continues! 📈

I have to repost this for me as a personal reminder to keep pushing forward. This is the second time this year I’ve worked on something that’s been featured on the Time Square billboard! Celebrate the little wins whenever you get the chance. 🙌🏻

13 years ago I moved out of my parents house and made the journey across state lines to Seattle with nothing but a dream to make music a career. At that time I didn’t know what I would get into but it was the start of a new journey that continues to this day.

From college, to being the new kid on the block, imposter syndrome, nearly quitting everything for corporate America, refocusing, and now thriving in music full time. Trust the process and you will see the results through all of the ups and downs.

I keep my personal life fairly private but I’ll give in and give you all an end of summer photo drop. Nothing out of the ordinary this summer, just a mellow few months with family, friends, outdoor activities, car hobbies, DIY projects, and more. 😌

I’m not quite ready for the summer weather to end but I’m looking forward to what’s to come with the change of seasons, upcoming holidays, and the start of the new year!

I logged into .ai the other day and saw we passed 500,000,000 all-time streams and just about 3,000 credits to my name.🤯

Numbers are numbers, and I’m a small fish in a sea of engineers of all sizes. This app can sometimes feel like a popularity contest, but I like to use it as a way to track and celebrate all of you who trust me with the finishing touches of your music.

These are your numbers, your milestones, your successes! The more the numbers go up the more it shows my clients are progressing and moving forward in their own careers. That’s all that matters.

is on the rise with her debut single “Bringing Home a Cowboy”! 100,000 monthly listeners and just about 200,000 streams in less than a month. I honestly haven’t seen this kind of momentum in quite some time with a new artist! She’s just getting started too... More on the way 🤫

On a personal note, this one’s special for me because I’m nearly 11 years into this and I can count on two hands the total number of country projects I have mastered. I want to work on more but it’s such an established genre that there’s often some bigger players involved on the mastering side. There’s always the go to engineers, but once in a while people take a chance on someone they don’t know and it works out just as well. That is the case with this song!

I still get a bit nervous whenever I do get a project like this because I honestly don’t have the most experience with this genre. Imposter syndrome kicks in but then I remember genre doesn’t matter, just do what I do best and make it sound the best I can. No overthinking needed. That’s what I did and here we are now with the results. 📈

It’s amazing to see her establishing such a big fan base on her first song!

Time flies! It’s been just over a year since this was released and it’s still going strong. We were so close to a #1 on billboard. I’ll humbly accept a #2 when running against Kendrick Lamar “Not Like Us” in the same week…😮‍💨 Coincidentally, Kendrick Lamar was in town tonight for his tour barely a year after all of this began. I love looking back on some of the powerful moments in modern music! Things move quickly in this industry but the impact lingers!
