This year, WEC participated in the 2022 Green 2.0 diversity study of NGOs within the environmental sector. The found that:
– 100% of participating NGOs committed financial resources to DEI efforts
– On average, NGOs provided eight weeks of paid parental leave
– Only 54% of participating NGOs had a transparent salary pay scale that employees could view

On Monday, Vancouver city council officials unanimously approved a bold Climate Action Framework, containing a pathway to carbon neutrality by 2040 🎉
Huge props to community organizers, local climate activists, policymakers, and local leaders for making this happen!
